Kandice James holds a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Arizona State University and is currently pursuing her Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. With over two decades of experience in coaching and development, Kandice has mentored peers in her local church's youth department, worked in government sector training and development for nearly a decade, and provided professional wellness coaching on various topics such as emotional wellness, relationship coaching, communication, parenting, health & wellness, sleep health, and more. She is proficient in diverse learning, development, and coaching models, consistently achieving positive outcomes.
Kandice’s warm and approachable presence creates a comfortable, safe, and judgment-free space for her clients. She developed a specialized behavioral health program for teen girls affected by parental absence due to substance use disorder and/or addiction. Kandice is also deeply passionate about helping couples, particularly within her community, achieve fulfilling and healthy relationships. She offers extensive premarital preparation services, covering critical topics like sex, finances, communication, and family blending, and she officiates weddings for her clients.
Married for 19 years, Kandice is a mother to four children (one late) and three beloved pets. An avid writer, she is currently working on her first book, which shares personal relationship lessons and strategies for maintaining relationship health. Outside of her professional work, Kandice enjoys cooking, experimenting with global recipes, and watching cooking videos online.
